Tuesday
Went to Manhattan to pick up the equipment and we were on the road by 1:30 to Boston. It took an hour to clear the Bronx with all the construction on the BQE, but after that it was all smooth.
We pulled into Newton around 6:00, checked into the hotel and called John. Him and his wife, Kathy, picked us up around 7:30 and took us to Papa Razzi for an awesome Italian dinner.
They are both Bible scholars. He teaches the New Testament at Boston College and she teaches Hebrew Bible at Boston University. We went to their house (a gorgeous and huge Victorian in Newton) for dessert and coffee and more conversation.
Yet again, we have been made to feel very welcome.
