We took our friends to the airport. Luci is feeling much better. She’ll be working freelance graphics all week.
After separating all the highlighted areas of the transcripts, I have compiled them into a 180-page document. I then split them up again into 7 different documents of assorted headings, i.e. Life at Mamou, Confrontation, etc. I am currently going into each one of these and organizing quotes into a finer outline. It’s starting to come together, but it is very tedious and time consuming.
The transcribing has reached completion! Not only did Mom do an amazingly detailed job, she did it in record time!
We have scheduled the interview with the C&MA to happen on October 21st in Colorado Springs. We’ll be meeting with Bob Featherlin, the Vice President of International Ministry. He’s the top guy in that branch, and has had a very active part in the processes of Mamou. Should be enlightening.
We’ll fly into Denver the day before and drive down that afternoon. After the interview, we’ll drive up to Ft. Collins and spend 4 days with some old friends for relaxation and celebration.
The fund raising continues to be rewarding. Donations are coming in on an almost daily basis. We’re not close to our goal yet, but at this pace, we’re sure to attain it. Thank you everyone for your efforts, it’s working!
