We have another visitor. This time it’s Torben from Hamburg. He’s been to visit us 5 times. He too has a lot of work to do, so our apartment is functioning more like an office/writer retreat more than ever.
Luci, Torben and I made a trek out to Astoria, Queens to see Reid Paley and Peg Simone play. The trip was complicated by typical train construction in New York, but once there, we hung out with Matt Weiss for a couple of beers. Scott Falivene and Suzy joined us and we all went to Tupelo’s for the show. It’s a great venue, but unfortunately, rumor has it, it’s being torn down for a grocery store. We had a great time and all in all, worth the trip.
