Saturday
I’ve been so slack on updating because there really hasn’t been much to report on these last few weeks. Still waiting to hear back from several folks that could potentially help. The holidays and Sundance have put things on hold.
Luci and I went down to St. Augustine for Christmas with my family and had a wonderful time. We hopped over to Gainesville for a night and raised a little Hades with some old friends.
The hunt for the perfect apartment continues, but is difficult. Prices are through the roof for the neighborhood. I’ve recently found work for a bank doing PowerPoint for them. Even though it’s corporate, the woman I’m working for is very nice and made for a great experience and the pay is awesome. If I can keep working for a couple of months, we can pay down some of the debt.
Luci and I celebrated our 9th Anniversary on the 30th with dinner and drinks with friends. We went to Prospect Park last night for fireworks. We’ve been in Park Slope for 4 years now and never walked to the park to see them. This was beyond words. We were so close to where they were going off, we felt we were going to be hit by the fallout. They were literally over our heads.
I hope everyone got through the holidays all right and Happy New Year. I want to thank everyone that was a part of the film so far for making 2004 a banner year for Luci and I and hopefully the energy and luck the film has had so far will carry on this year!
