Scott Foundas
I just saw Scott Foundas recently in New York when he was on a terrific festival panel at the founding session of the FFA / Film Festival Academy (of which Sydney and I are on the Advisory Board) held in association with the New York Film Festival.

It has been just announced that Scott, while continuing in his role as Associate Program Director for the Film Society of Lincoln Center, will also assist the Cannes Film Festival in its search for American films. He has been brought aboard as a Special Adviser to the Cannes Film Festival by Festival Director Thierry Fremaux.

Foundas will remain in his job as associate program director for the Film Society of Lincoln Center, but will also now focus on helping Cannes in its search for American titles for the annual May event.

A member of the New York Film Festival selection committee since 2007, Foundas was film editor and critic for the LA Weekly from 2003-2009.
