Cannes: One Less Final Day

Due to European elections on Sunday 25 May, the Festival de Cannes management team has decided to reveal the winners of the 67th Festival a day earlier, on Saturday 24 May, at the traditional awards ceremony in the Grand Théâtre Lumière.


The final film in competition will be shown on Friday 23 May and the jury will meet the next day to select the winners.

The winners of Un Certain Regard award will be announced in the evening of Friday 23 May and the Cinéfondation awards will be held the same afternoon, as usual.


All films in Official Selection will be screened again over the weekend of 24 and 25 May in the Palais theaters. The Festival will close on Sunday 25 May with the screening of the Palme d’or.
