The Shanghai-based non-profit movement Cities of Love, responsible so far for two pieces of collective filmmaking highlighting cities (e.g. Paris, Je T'aime, New York, I Love You), will present their newest project, Rio, I Love You, between September 21st and November 1st in Rio, Brazil during the Rio International Film Festival and Market.
The new shooting session for the film will showcase the cultural diversity and landmarks of the cities while engaging the locals through educational initiatives like the "New Directors" Mentoring Program, which aims to promote new talent and sustainable development.
The franchise -- whose films are collections of shorts by several directors -- will follow with projects centering on Shanghai and Jerusalem aims to expand to more iconic cities in the future.
