To my readers, This is a letter from Susan Youssef, updating us on her film Habibi.

Habibati | Darlings,

Habibi
With the support of Sundance Artist Services , we have launched Habibi online . As a truly independent and international film, we chose Vimeo on Demand as the platform that best suits our film and audience.

We are proud to have the support of the French Consulate in the Gaza Strip, so that I can attend and present Habibi in Gaza on December 18. Of course my attendance is still pending permissions, but we intend for the screening to happen with or without me. This will be my happiest moment of making this film: knowing that it finally screens in Gaza.

I am absolutely thrilled to return to Virginia this week, to present the film at Old Dominion University . After my trip to ODU, I will be in NYC for a while , so please reach out to me if you are in town.

Salamaat and thank you for all,

Susan Youssef
Director, Habibi
