Odin's Eye is an Australia based international sales agent. Odin's Eye was launched in 2006 and represents films from all over the world. A prime example is this year's Go For It!" title="Go For It!">Go For It!, the first film of Latina filmmakers Carmen Marron ♀ which won the Audience Prize at Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival and was picked up by LionsGate's Latino theatrical arm Panteleon. Below is the latest report on the film from Carmen herself.

I just got back from Austin where Go For It! won the Audience Award at the Cine Las Americas Film Festival! T-minus TWO WEEKS and counting for our U.S. release on May 13th! I’m a nervous wreck! I’m so busy working that I don’t have time to think about it, thank God. I can’t believe it’s been almost eight years that I spent working and wondering if this day will actually come….as my stomach turns inside out. I recently went to the Burbank AMC, my neighborhood theater where I’ve been going to see movies since I moved to L. .and I saw the Gof For It! poster in the lobby….Gasp! I wish I could’ve seen my face.

I can promise you’ll laugh at least a few times, be wowed by the dancing, and maybe break down and cry if you let yourself relive a time in your life when you were a teen and full of innocent dreams. There was a man who approached me last week after the Austin screening and said he came by himself to see the short before and did not plan to stay for my screening. He felt the need to share with me how much he was moved by the story. This was a man in his mid-50’s who is a police sergeant in Austin! I really appreciated the kindness from a complete stranger.

I just got this list of theaters that will be screening Go For It! in the L.A. area (more will be added soon). The poster SHOULD be up in every lobby and in front of the ticket counters. If it’s not, please ask the manager or employee on my behalf…”What’s up with the Go For It! poster? Don’t even tell me you don’t have it. We wanna see it up and representing us indie crusaders!”

There are several Aussie-based international sales agents.

Have a look at Carlos Alperin's Galloping Films for instance. They have much better movies actually than Odins Eye.

    Just FYI.

    Have a nice day!

You are correct and I have changed the copy to correct my error. Thank you! SL
