Since its inception in 1998, PPP has been an opportunity for filmmakers to meet with investors and producers for partnership and co-productions. Three former PPP projects are invited to the 63rd Festival de Cannes, including Lee Chang-dong’s “Poetry” and Boo Jun Feng’s “Sand Castle.”

Last year, over 200 projects competed for 30 finalist slots, including well-known Asian directors including Pang Ho Cheung and Ekachai Uekrongtham.
