IF YOU ARE NOT LOGGED INTO IMDbPRO YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO WORK ALL THESE LINKS

Eloi Gerard is a very busy Belgium based producer who was marked by his colleagues in Cannes this past month as an up and comer to be watched closely and of whom great things are expected..

He is working now with the very busy Montreal based producer Michael Calace. (Michael is somewhat famous - notorious??? - for being out in the lead a few years back in blowing the whistle on Catholic Church hierarchy sexual abuse. His “Intimate Fear” has received lots of publicity for a screenplay that was not yet filmed, especially because it was showcased in his docu film Rape of the Soul, and written about in the Washington Post among other publications. High up in the Church heads rolled because of his great work on exposing institutionally protected sexual abuse ....)

Eloi and Michael are now producing the thriller Cluster with a 2 mil EU budget of which 70% is already financed as a Belgian Canada co production to shoot in Canada in October. Dramatic tale, no FX.

Eloi recently finished his first feature, Cannibal a horror love story.

He attended INSAS Film School in Brussels. He then attended business school in Brussels and worked at Deloitte and Accenture in management consulting. After a few years learning the ropes in business / finance he turned full time to film.

He currently has a documentary in development for TV about bankruptcy in Lebanon and is developing with a Lebanese co production partner.

He is developing another comedy horror film, 'Mayflower Power'.

His goal is to make more films.

We'll be watching closely!!
