AFM kicks off November 2, 2011 for 10 days. Rights Round Up will be updated daily and is available here. The readers' corrections and additions are welcomed!

Numbers:
• About 75% of all movies released in U.S. theaters last year were independently financed, up from less than half of all such movies 6 years ago according to the MPAA.
• 400 finished films and many more presales
• 8,000 professionals attending
• Buyer registration up 10% with the BRIC countries well represented
• 50% more buyers from China
• Exhibitors fromMongolia and Cambodia attending for the first time
