Strategic Partners 2011 keynote presentations include:

A Conversation with Anne Carey: Christina Piovesan (Whistleblower/Amreeka) hosts a conversation with one of the leading indie producers in the US. Anne Carey began her career with the William Morris Agency, went on to work with Good Machine for nearly a decade, and in 2002 co-founded This is That Productions, with producers Ted Hope and Anthony Bregman. Credits include: The American, Adventureland, The Savages, Towelhead, The Ex, and Friends With Money. In 2007, Carey and her business partners were included in Hollywood Reporter’s Indie Power 50. Recently moving beyond This is That, Anne joined forces with Mindy Goldberg and Epoch Films (Junebug, Gigantic) to help expand the company's film and television slate.

Michel Reilhac, Executive Director of Arte France Cinema and Director of Film Acquisitions for ARTE France, is a true visionary in the global screen industry. His keynote, Firm Steps Into Uncertainty, will address the risks that must be taken in a very fast and constantly changing media landscape. How do you make choices and decisions when the “medium is no longer the message” but the “medium is the mess …?”

Panel topics at Strategic Partners include Psst .. Private Equity is Back, with a remarkable line-up including Worldview Entertainment’s Chris Woodrow, CAA’s Ben Kramer, GK Films’ Lisa Wilson and Neil Tabtaznik from Blue Ice Entertainment; Financing from a BRAND New Perspective, moderated by Freshbaked’s Brett Heard; and Transmedia, hosted by Emmy Award-winning Stitch Media’s Victoria Ha, and including Australia’s Christy Dena.

Strategic Partners has a proven track record. Feature Films such as Ecstasy, Norteado, Shade of Violence, Love & Savagery, Surveillance, Helen, Shake Hands with the Devil, Dolan’s Cadillac, River King and Snow Angel and TV projects including Combat Hospital, The Yard, Burn Up, Diamonds, Sex Traffic, Words of My Perfect Teacher, Generation XXL and Mythquest all credit their participation in Strategic Partners as integral to their success.
