This is the "cattle line", I mentioned from Sundance Day One, now empty except for me, Richard Peterson, Director of Programming of the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center in Mill Valley, and the volunteer with the great Mohawk punk hat who is about to tell me that I am not allowed to film in the line waiting area for the Holiday Village Theaters. Imagine this room when filled with people waiting to get into all 4 theaters. You have to line up an hour ahead to be sure to get a seat. At the moment I shot this, it was 5 pm, an hour before the the film Lasting. Most of the trade was at the Main Street cocktail receptions IDA, AFI and Sundance Channel were holding.
