The Oscars were fun this year! We all got to participate! From Facebook to tearing down Tweeter, watchers got to actively take part in the fun. The women were also beautiful to look at, and an important political statement was made early in the show, thank you Jared Leto. Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron and his six-time nominated DP Emmanuel Lubezki, African Diaspora 12 Years Slave and its supporting actress, the beautiful Lupita Nyong'o, 20 Feet From Stardom, Australians, French, Italians, Danes, and others define Hollywood today as truly multi-cultural. It made me proud!

And for you young hopefuls, visit the Academy Awards site and enter the Student Academy Awards, or win the Nicholl Fellowship for scriptwriting.
