Mary-Kate Olsen stalking was not the highlight of my first Friday night in Park City...

The indieWIRE crew headed to Deer Valley just before Main Street blacked out for a party in honor of "Time Crimes" director Nacho Vigalondo. The theme was karaoke (Nacho's favourite) and the food was, nachos. Machines pumped smoke into the packed four story condo and the scene looked something like this:

That is, until the smoke machines set off the fire alarms and the Park City Fire Department joined the party.

Unfortunately, while the firemen came and went and the party continued on into the wee hours... their presence alerted authorities to some illegally parked cars (I'd imagine something like 50 of them), including our car. So, sometime after 2am, we had to take a cab to the Park City Impound Lot:

So, yes, eventful times in Park City.
