Prime Minister Dion?
Not Celine, but Stephane. I come home from a long day of Black Friday shopping, do a round of interneting that eventually leads me to my daily Canadian newspaper check-in. And what do I find? That when I come back to Canada next week, I might just have a new prime minister. Despite being 12 hour old news, its still nowhere to be found on any major American news website, but: Up north, the Liberals have formed a coalition with the NDP, and are hoping to topple the Harper government by Tuesday of next week. It looks very likely than in a few days we can start saying “Prime Minister Stephane Dion.” At least for a few months.
Who said Canadian politics can’t be exciting? Eh?
