How Soon Until Paul Haggis Ends Up Face Down In a River?

As much as I am no fan of Mr. Haggis’ work, I have to give severe props to him quitting Scientology over the church’s support of California’s controversial anti-gay ballot initiative Proposition 8.  He’s essentially risking his life to stand up for the gays (I know that sounds overdramatic, but I stand by it)... so I guess in return the gays should probably forgive him for making the film that beat “Brokeback Mountain” at the Oscars.

“Outrage” Premieres on HBO Tonight

Sadly underseen in its theatrical release this Spring, HBO is premiering Kirby Dick’s revelatory and important doc “Outrage” tonight. If you haven’t seen it and give even the slightest about the mass hypocrisy of the US government with regard to gay issues, please watch.


It blows my mind that Charlie Crist is still running for 2010 Republican senate and considered a potential 2012 presidential despite this film making it 100% clear that Crist is a homo.

Montreal Students Pull Off Incredible One Take Music Video of “I Gotta Feeling”

I kind of despise this song, but 172 communications students from Montreal’s L’Université du Québec à Montréal somehow took just 2 hours and 15 minutes to rehearse and film an incredible one take music video to Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” as part of the integration week.

It is a must (repeat) watch and hopefully a deserved viral video sensation in the making… and yours to watch after the jump.
