“Women in Trouble”: Exclusive Clip

Premiering at SXSW, here’s an indieWIRE exclusive clip of Sebastian Gutierrez’s “Women in Trouble” (featuring former Spin City sisters Carla Gugino and Connie Britton, now of Watchmen and Friday Night Lights fame, respectively). A synopsis care of the publicists to follow. I advise you just watch the clip now without any idea what you’re getting yourself into.

Writer/director Sebastian Gutierrez is days away from the world premiere of his newest film, WOMEN IN TROUBLE, on March 15th at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas.  He describes the film as “a comedy about a serpentine day in the life of ten seemingly disparate women – including a porn star, a flight attendant, a businesswoman, a psychiatrist, a masseuse, a bartender and a pair of call girls.”  The film’s ensemble includes Carla Gugino (“Watchmen”), Adrianne Palicki (“Friday Night Lights”), Connie Britton (“24”), Marley Shelton (“Grindhouse”), Emmanuelle Chriqui (“Entourage”), Simon Baker (“The Mentalist”), and Josh Brolin (“Milk”), among others.  Among the various women in desperate situations, Carla Gugino stars as porn star Elektra Luxx and Connie Britton plays a businesswoman named Dora.  Stuck in a stifling hot elevator for over an hour, they have no choice but to start sharing their life stories with one another.  Here is an exclusive first look at WOMEN IN TROUBLE.

Thanks for posting this clip ~ Awesome!

Dora’s (Connie Britton) expression is priceless! lol

I love Adrianne Palicki & Connie in <I>“Friday Night Lights” - I can’t make the festival so I really hope this film gets a wider release some time in the future!

Please post more if they become available.

Thanks again for sharing! :)

Impressive. Would be cool to see @ the premiere….

Very funny clip. Carla & Connie are 2 of the most gorgeous women in Hollywood & great actresses as well. I think, based on what i’ve seen so far, this is gonna be a very entertaining flick & I can’t wait to see this one.
