I had too much fun doing this a few entries back, and its a dreary, rainy day here in Park City so I decided there was no better way to kill an hour of my morning doing it again, this time instead of listing the worst nominees I'd go for the worst snubs. I expanded the lists to 13 because frankly ten wasn't enough (I even cheated in best picture, where it's really 16), and only included English-language films because it just started getting way too extensive when I considered foreign snubs. nice lists. ZODIAC and SYNECHODCHE are the most egregious snubs of them all. i'd add Russell Crowe for his title role in best pic nom MASTER AND COMMANDER (2003). instead they nom'ed Jude Law in the unbearable COLD MOUNTAIN. and i'd add AMERICAN SPLENDOR (2003) for Best Pic and Paul Giamatti for his leading perf.
