Cigarette Smoking Will Turn You Into a Zombie
I'm all for anti-smoking advertisements taking over cigarette packs, and while the new batch of them covering all Canadian brands is generally affective, there's one I'm sincerely questioning. Look, I know smoking does crazy, horrible things to your body, but does it really ever turn you into a zombie? Turns your pupils into giant silver circles and dies your ENTIRE HAND brown? Especially when, as this ad suggests, you're like 30 years old. Smoking is a horrible habit that no one should start and everyone else should quit. But exaggerating its hazards to comic effect ain't gonna do much good.
