In this piece I wrote for the main page today, TIFF co-director Cameron Bailey noted - among many other things - that the new Todd Solondz film "Life During Wartime" "marks a return to characters and themes that he dealt with before, but with a really new sense of maturity to the way he approaches it. I think people will be surprised and impressed..." Consider me officially excited. And to supplement such, I stumbled across a bunch of Paul Reubens-centric stills on TIFF's photo site. Enjoy:

    It's nice to see Paul Reubens return to working, after the theatre-masturbation fiasco (which he denied) years ago and his dethronement from the king of kiddie shows.

    I also love Solodnz, so I'm sure it'll be a fascinating film...
