The remarkable charm and wit of the late Nora Ephron is evident in countless examples, but I figured I'd share this adorably sharp clip of her feting her occasional muse Meryl Streep at the AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Ephron irresistibly mixed wit with candor -- and vice versa. And her books were delectable treats at the bedside table -- if you didn't mind running the risk of waking the neighbors with laugh-out-loud guffaws in the middle of the night. To bookend Peter's link, here's her other inimitable AFI tribute: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkFEmVD3qw4
