Toronto's NOW Magazine has published their TIFF preview issue, with a good hundred reviews to boot. They got surprising access to the new Coen Brothers (which they loved), Drew Barrymore's "Whip It" (which they didn't hate), and other premieres like "Dorian Gray," "The Damned United," Samantha Morton's directorial debut "The Unloved," buzzy doc "The Art of the Steal," and a ton of films we've already word on, from "The Road" to scores of Cannes/Sundance/Berlin titles. Of all the films they reviewed, only four got the coveted "five N"'s (one of the lamest ratings system I've come across): "A Serious Man," "A Prophet," "Police, Adjective," and "Bright Star." Check out all the reviews here. It's a great resource for those heading Toronto way next week.
