Ridiculous Tweets From ABC's Lame Coverage of Last Night's Presidential Debate

Being in Iceland, I was forced to watch the Presidential debate via ABC's live-stream on YouTube (at 2 in the morning). Less than optimal, but I appreciated it was even an option. Though I did not appreciate ABC's horrifyingly lame tactic of running unnecessary and occasionally embarrassing tweets from whoever used the hashtag #debate at the bottom of the screen:

Not only did these tweets make America look like a bunch of idiots, ABC treated them just like that when they replaced the tweets with "fun facts" from fourth grade politics class:

But at least we had Patton Oswalt and Roger Ebert giving some brief credibility to the whole thing:
