Is it safe to call the 2008 Oscar race over?

Looking more and more like the GOP's presidential candidate, Kevin Spacey lookalike Mike Huckabee said some lovely things about the gays back in 1992 as exposed in this AP story. My favourite quote:

"I feel homosexuality is an aberrant, unnatural, and sinful lifestyle, and we now know it can pose a dangerous public health risk."

Here he defends his remarks like a true gentleman:
