Sundance Video: Generation in Crisis: LGBT Youth in Film and the Media Panel
Here's some clips from a panel in Sundance earlier this week that examined depictions of queer youth in several of this year's Sundance Film Festival films and expanded on how those stories relate to the recent media attention of suicide and queer youth in crisis. Gregg Araki (Director/Writer, Kaboom), Dee Rees (Director/Writer, Pariah), Erica Dunton (Director/Writer, to.get.her), and Daniel Sladek (Executive Producer, Prayers for Bobby) were all on the panel.
