Before Sunset 3 seems to be actually happening!!! Or, whatever it is they'll call it. "During Moonlight"? "Before Another Sunset"? Either way, though, I've always hoped this would come together and have complete faith the Delpy-Hawke-Linklater triad of combined genius (though separately they are a bit more hit and miss) will lay to rest any debate over what the greatest second sequel of all time is.

One of the most fascinating things about being in Holland at this time of year is being able to experience firsthand the bizarre tradition surrounding Christmas for Dutch folk. It focuses primarily on two characters: Sinterklass and Zwarte Piet.   Commercials featuring the two are constantly on Dutch television, and the poster above - for the annual release of a Sinterklass-themed film - is plastered all across Amsterdam...

Seung-Jun Yi's doc "Planet of Snail" is screening here at IDFA and I have to quickly remark that it totally blew me away. And no, it's not a nature documentary about snails. It's a quietly powerful portrait of Young-Chan, a Korean man who is both deaf and blind (he calls himself a "snail" as he can only communicate through touch). At the centre of the story is Young-Chan's relationship with his wife Soon-Ho, who lovingly works as his eyes and ears.

Seriously People, Bradley Cooper!? I wouldn't even feel comfortable calling him "The Sexiest 'Closeted Homosexual' Who 'Dated' Renee Zelwegger" (sorry, I have a weird thing for country singers).

Last night I found myself wasting a good chunk of my night glued to a television show that wasn't even in a language I understood: "Oh Oh Cherso," which is essentially the Dutch version of "Jersey Shore."

I just so happen to be in Holland right now staying with some very lovely distant relatives and experiencing Rotterdam for the first time - the city my grandparents and some uncles and aunts were born and raised. In the midst of this ancestoral discovery session I came across this Dutch PSA against gay bullying...

The past few days the leaked tracks off the new Drake and Rihanna albums have served as pretty much my exclusive daily soundtrack. But this duet between them - the title track off Drake's "Take Care," which is out tomorrow  - might just take the cake. Catchy, moody, and oozing vulnerability, it works as a sweeter, less carnal sibling to their previous - and equally awesome - teaming "What's My Name." Take a few listens and then expect yourself to never stop:
