Check out part 1 of my interview with "The Room" director/writer/star Tommy Wiseau over at indieWIRE, which I have to say was one of the most entertaining interviews I've ever had the privilege of taking on. The first time I ever saw "The Room" was roughly 4 years ago, when a friend cleverly set up this scenario: At his apartment, after six of us had smoked a whole lot of weed, he put "The Room" with little to no explanation of what it was we were about to watch. I have never been so confused/laughed so hard in my entire life. So as weird and rambling as Wiseau was, he was also undeniably sweet and sincere, leading me to a newfound appreciation for the man who once (unintentionally) made me choke on a nacho because I was laughing so hard.
