Did they hire a B-rate undergrad graphic design student from 1997? This looks like the poster for the 76th Academy Awards. And it wouldn't have been very good then either, for the tagline alone... And P.S.: "Forrest Gump," "Gladiator" and "Driving Miss Daisy"? Might as well just say "The Oscars: We Don't Know What The Fuck We're Talking About."

This is a poster that suites the academy very well: old fashioned, traditional and unable to innovate. So if you don't mind that, there's no problem right? I think they should trow everyone out of the organisation that has been involved since forever. BTW i do like the oscars and see the importance and relevance of them....

I think you are being too harsh. The poster is all right.
