I question Roseanne's current comedic and creative abilities, mostly due to said blogging and also due to the last two seasons of her sitcom, "Roseanne." However, I will give her the complete benefit of the doubt because:
1. "Roseanne"'s first seven seasons created some of the most brilliant, funny, topical, poignant and somehow timeless episodes of television ever made.
2. She's sticking with that show's essential formula: The show is family comedy in which she would play the matriarch.
3. Jim Vallely ("Arrested Development") is attached to pen the script for the project (he wrote 15 AD episodes, including "Pier Pressure" and "Motherboy XXX," two of the series' best).
In celebration and hope of this project, I'll sporadically and in no particular order be posting 10 or 15 of my very favourite episodes of Roseanne.
