Transgression Via T-Shirts
My dear friend (and Dubai saving grace) and I found these t-shirts at a Souq in a very non-touristy area of the city (where, for the first time in 7 days, I felt like I was witnessing authenticity). Obviously meant as a homophobic joke (though its still bizarre they were for sale in the first place), we excitedly realized the transgressive Dubai waterfront photo shoot potential, and bought a pair from a suspicious looking sales clerk.
