"Picture Paris"

Kicking off Indiewire and Apple's Tribeca Talk Series this weekend, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Brad Hall sat down with yours truly at the Apple Store on 14th Street -- the full video of which is posted below.

Dreyfus and Hall -- married for nearly 25 years (they were on SNL together in the mid-80s) -- collaborated on a short film that premiered at Tribeca called "Picture Paris."  Alongside the film's composer Steve Rashid (himself an Apple Store employee), the two discussed the film's genesis, working together professionally after a quarter-century of marriage, and Louis-Dreyfus' new HBO series "Veep" (which premiered last night).

I'll also fully acknowledge my tripping and falling en route to the stage, which I'll attempt to suggest was done purposely in tribute to this:

The Lost Boys @ Tribeca, brought you by Diet Coke.  Diet Coke is giving away free Tribeca screenings online. Just go to Tribecafilm.com and hit the “Shift” and “X” keys at the same time and a special film will be unlocked for you to view. Do it now!
