A "spin-off" of one of the worst movies of the past decade, "Valentine's Day," the trailer for "New Year's Eve" has hit the interweb, and it looks as desperate and thrown together as one would expect. Half of Hollywood, or, specifically: Ashton Kutcher, Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Hilary Swank, Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, Sofia Vergara, Julie Andrews, John Lithgow, Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sienna Miller, Alyssa Milano, Ryan Seacrest, Jon Bon Jovi, Ice Cube, Josh Duhamel and Greg Kinnear (Pfeiffer, Andrews and De Niro's involvement breaks my heart the most). Between them, the cast has 6 Oscars and 20 Oscar nominations. But for whatever reason, they all thought this was a good idea. And, sadly, it will probably make $150 million dollars. Can't wait for "Columbus Day!" in 2013.
