The now 3 month long Quebec Student Strike movement got a classy shout out in Cannes from Montrealer Xavier Dolan and the cast of "Laurence Anyways" today. On the red carpet for the film's premiere, each of them wore the movement's iconic red squares, hopefully causing folks not in the know to take notice and read up on the pretty incredible stuff going down in Quebec right now (yourself not in the know? read this).
