2 New Posters For Lars Von Trier's 'Nymphomaniac' Want To Hurt You

Pain, pleasure, sex and Lars von Trier. It's a combination that is already provocative on paper, but realized in a 4-hour, two-part epic (with a 5 1/2-hour director's cut to come), well, no matter how it turns out—good or bad—it's going to be an experience. And with the movie screening for press in Europe next week, opening in Denmark and Norway later this month, in France in January and in the U.S. in March and April, the naughty floodgates are opening up wider than ever.

And with the movie screening for press in Europe next week, opening in Denmark and Norway later this month, in France in January and in the U.S. in March and April, the naughty floodgates are opening up wider than ever.

And thus, two new posters for the film have arrived. And while they don't feature any cast members or o-faces, they do feature two rather interesting props. The whip we can see fitting into a kinky bedroom, but we really don't want to ask where that fish hook winds up. And coming from the delightfully warped mind of Lars, we're sure where it surfaces will go beyond even our own wild imaginations.

"Nymphomaniac: Part One" opens in theaters on March 21, 2014, and will be available On Demand starting March 6, 2014. "Nymphomaniac: Part Two" will open in theaters on April 18, 2014 and will be available On Demand as of April 3, 2014. Posters below.
