4 Serious New Pictures From The Not Serious 'Iron Man 3'

"It's not a serious movie, but we seriously dig into exploring more of Tony," Marvel honcho Kevin Feige recently said. But if these new pics are anything to go by, it's more like "Emo Man 3" than "Iron Man 3" amirite? Combined with the very furrowed brow trailer, we're wondering when wise-crackin' Tony Stark is going to show up.

As for the pics themselves, they do give a crisper look at Iron Patriot, Rhodey's new ride, at least when compared to the magazine scan that was floating earlier. Perhaps most significantly, we get our first look at Rebecca Hall, who plays Maya Hansen, a scientist who works with Guy Pearce's Tristian Aldrich character to create Extremis, the virus that's a key compenent to the sequel. Like the rest of the cast, things don't seem to be going well for her either.

Not sure what was more clever....."Emo Man 3" or this gem: "Iron Man 3" is coming quickly, and will make you a mixtape on May 5, 2013"......either way, I can dig it.
