The film follows a teenager (Yelchin) who discovers that he's got a vampire living next door. Colette is his mom and Poots plays the love interest with the cast rounded out by Christopher Mintz-Plasse as his friend Evil Ed, Dave Franco as an asshole bully and Chris Sarandon in a cameo that will link everything back to the previous film. With all these pics now landing, how about a trailer, marketing department? This is a film that is going to have to hit a very specific tone right on the nose in order to get it right and we're curious to see how this all turns out.
"Fright Night" opens on August 19th. More pics below. [Facebook/EW, print edition]

I’ve always wanted to see Christian Bale and Colin Farrell do another movie together after having no scenes together in The New World (2005). They are both incredible actors and it would be amazing to see them bounce off each other in a film.

Looks like it'll be an interesting flick.

Can you please explain what was meant by "a 'Jaws'-like vampire" in the previous Fright Night article?

Isn't David Tennant suppose to be in Fright Night? Come on movie executives, show us some Tennant! :)
