It's Halloween and it seems that today's treats are bits and bobs about Terrence Malick's next, untitled film (aka "The Burial"). First word cropped up that little known American Indian classical composer Jerod Tate would be providing the score. But in addition to the cast, which currently includes Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Rachel Weisz, Olga Kurylenko, Javier Bardem, Barry Pepper, Charles Baker and in a small role, Jessica Chastain, it looks two more stars popped up on the set that we didn't previously known about.

Search For Female Lead Narrowed To Olivia Wilde & Sarah SilvermanSince "The Sopranos" ended back in 2007, James Gandolfini's been doing pretty well for himself, all told. He might not have taken any roles with as major an impact on the cultural zeitgeist as angsty mob boss Tony Soprano, but he's managed to tackle a diverse range of stuff, from a foul-mouthed general in "In The Loop" to a mood-swing-prone monster in "Where The Wild Things Are," and he's got some high-profile supporting turns on the way, in Stephen Daldry's "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" and Andrew Dominik's "Cogan's Trade."

Gale Snoats, Charlie Meadows, Walter Sobchak and Big Dan Teague -- these are memorable characters played by John Goodman in “Raising Arizona,” “Barton Fink,” “The Big Lebowski” and “O Brother Where Art Thou?” (he also made a brief cameo in "The Hudsucker Proxy") and he's set to make his first movie with the duo in over a decade.

It seems with each passing day, Louis Leterrier again raises the stakes on his high concept heist flick "Now You See Me." With a cast that already includes Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman, Isla Fisher, Melanie Laurent, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco, it's now getting a dose of English class.

For a guy who is pals with Roman Polanski, is housemates with James Toback, has produced documentaries on John Cazale and Woody Allen and is a great lover of cinema, Brett Ratner's oeuvre has been ridiculously milquetoast. But then again, making movies that are About Things and have even a whiff of artistry, don't allow you to hang with Paris Hilton and publish books of tasteful nude photography. But since he's producing the Oscars this year, we suppose he's feeling it's about time to direct a movie that has a possibility of getting nominated for one.

If he doesn’t have a key already, they might as well give him one because Michael Arndt—the Oscar winning writer of “Little Miss Sunshine” and one of the co-writers of “Toy Story 3” (that also earned him a nomination)—is going to be a fixture on the Disney lot for the next few years. This year the mouse house has been busy lining up projects for the man, tasking him with “Snow And The Seven” as well the ambitious, under wraps and currently untitled Pete Docter movie over at Pixar about the formation of ideas inside the human mind. Well, he’s lined up yet another gig.

While it still seems a bit of a way off just yet, the gestating remake of "Fantastic Voyage" is still very much in the works. The film has seen a number of helmers eyeing the director’s chair, but its Shawn Levy of "Real Steel" and "Night At The Museum" fame who is now set to take it on. The original 1966 film follows a group of scientists who are miniaturized and sent into a human body in a submarine to remove a blood clot from a colleague’s brain—a scientist who is invaluable to the CIA. Certainly, there is a lot of room to tell the story again particularly aided with all the special effects tools that are available today, but that's not the only change that's in store for the movie.

Dane DeHaan, Thomas McDonnell, Augustus Prew & Jake Abel Also In The MixTake note, young directors. This is why you attach yourself to projects before your next movie comes out. While the middle performance and dreadful reviews for the pretty idiotic "In Time" would have sidelined any director, Andrew Niccol was savvy enough to sign on to "The Host," an adaptation of a novel by "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer and with a release date already pegged, this one is beginning to cast up.
