In all the excitement last week over Empire's debut of two new looks at Batman and Bane on the cover of their latest issue, a small morsel of important info from "The Dark Knight Rises" seemed to be overlooked. Just as they did in the run up for "The Dark Knight," Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. are planning to give audiences a healthy, early taste of the final installment of the trilogy. If you go to a select IMAX cinema starting December 21st, you'll get a look at the first six or seven minutes of the upcoming movie.

Well this is somewhat of a surprise. Largely known as a filmmaker that specializes in employing amateur actors, it appears that the seventh film by Bruno Dumont will be led by none other than cinephile sweetheart Juliette Binoche. Considering the "Certified Copy" actress' determination to work with every auteur out there it seems like a logical next step for her, but for the French philosophy-professor-turned-movie-director it's some new ground. Maybe it's training for that eventual project with Tom Cruise (note: never gonna happen).

Details of the "Young Adult" soundtrack have arrived. Jason Reitman's follow-up to "Up In The Air," his fourth feature centers on a damaged and divorced young adult fiction writer (Charlize Theron) who returns to her home in small-town Minnesota, looking to rekindle a romance with her ex-boyfriend, who is now married with kids. But one of the themes of the movie is being stuck in the past, not being able to outshine your glory days in high school and thus the soundtrack to the film is replete with 1990s-created alt-rock cuts.

After a year of fairly tough work, dealing with infidelity and depression in "The Deep Blue Sea", U.N. corruption in "The Whistleblower," and forgetting to turn down roles in "360" and "Dream House," the next year or so sees Rachel Weisz heading to tentpole territory for the first time since 2005's "Constantine." She's got a key role alongside Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton and co. in Tony Gilroy's "The Bourne Legacy" arriving in the summer, while early 2013 sees her join Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams as one of a triumvirate of witches in Sam Raimi's "Oz The Great and Powerful."

It's the last Thursday of November, which can only mean one thing: Thanksgiving. And while Playlist members include two Canadians, an Australian, a pair of Limeys and a globe-trotting Irishwoman, we're still mostly made up of U.S. citizens who'll be tucking into turkey today, and we're totally on board with the whole giving thanks part of the holiday. We didn't learn American punctuation for nothing, you know?
