For a while there, riding in the wake of the success of "Crazy Heart," director Scott Cooper put his name to a not insignificant number of potential projects, before finally mounting "Out Of The Furnace" last year. And it looks like one of those movies is moving on without him.

There was a time when Kenneth Branagh was best known for his Shakespeare adaptations, but he's always had a tentpole heart it seems. Going all the way back to 1994's "Frankenstein," which seemed like an anomaly at the time, he's shown a knack for big screen spectacle, and after helming "Thor" he took the gig directing "Jack Ryan." Unlikely? Maybe, but once again, Branagh is ready to play with a lot of money and special effects.

This weekend comes the greatest sporting eating advertising event of the year: the Super Bowl. Frankly, we couldn't tell you what teams are playing or even who the players are, but what we do know is that it's a major marketing weekend for the studios looking to pimp their expensive baubles for a huge domestic audience. Of course, not only will the stars be out to promote their movies in new trailers and extended TV spots, they've been scooped up by various brands who roll out expensive ads in the hopes that you'll talk about them and/or watch them again on Monday. But some are getting the ball rolling early.

If the last few years have been a golden age of TV, 2013 might mark the end of that era, as many of the shows that have been the highlights of the last few years are wrapping up this year. We've already seen the underrated "Fringe" finish, "The Office" and "Breaking Bad" are wrapping up this summer, and question marks hang over the survival chances of "Community" and "Parks and Recreation." And tonight sees another great show go to syndication heaven -- Tina Fey's "30 Rock."

Actors Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal have a lot in common. In addition to being Mexican heartthrobs and best friends since birth, they are also both budding directors who co-own Canana Productions, a company that has produced projects helmed by each. Most recently, the company co-produced a two-part short film project for Chivas Regal, with Luna directing the first segment, released earlier this week, and Bernal directing the second, as-of-yet-unreleased segment. And now you can take a look at what they've made.
