Is there anything Joseph Gordon-Levitt can’t do? Or, possibly more accurately, is there anything that any right-minded person wouldn’t want to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt do? He’s the anti-Anne Hathaway in the respect that everybody loves him whether they have good reason or not, and the man now looks set to add another string to his bow.

Chevy Chase, the guy who basically torpedoed his role on "Community," seems to be changing his mind about popping up in reboot of the franchise that helped make his name. The upcoming "Vacation" has been brewing for a while now, but back in 2011 he made it clear he wasn't interested in playing second fiddle any series he helped start. And in fact, he was writing his own sequel script.

Yeah, we know, offer stories are kind of the worst in some ways, but considering that Christopher Nolan keeps everything inside a vault inside his own mind (see what we did there?) any morsel regarding his projects is one we'll take a bite of, so here we are. And here you are, too. Onward...

A film we're already predicting to be a player in the Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor races in the upcoming Oscar season, and pretty much a shoo-in for the Cannes Film Festival in May, Fox Searchlight are showing they're expecting big things from the "Twelve Years A Slave" as well.

Last fall saw the end of what appeared, for a little while at least, to be a seemingly endless series of "Twilight" films. The moony film series, based on a series of equally moony novels by Mormon housewife Stephenie Meyer, were torturously lengthy, poorly plotted trifles, the stuff of dime-store romance novels and late-night horror movies (although infused with questionable gender politics and bizarre mythology for all the monsters that simply chose to ignore or eschew their Judeo-Christian background or iconography, leaving them as little more than metaphorically empty mopes). They also made what leading economists describe as a "shit ton" of money.

Ry Russo-Young walked away from the 2012 Sundance Festival with a Jury Prize for “Nobody Walks,” a feature she both wrote and directed, capping a string of relatively successful indie features. She starred in and co-wrote Joe Swanberg’s “Hannah Takes the Stairs,” wrote, directed and edited “Orphans,” and wrote, directed, edited and produced 2009’s “You Won’t Miss Me”…there’s no doubting the talents of this young filmmaker. Well, flash-forward just over a year and Russo-Young looks to be benefitting from that Sundance success.

Because having Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Chris Cooper, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti and Felicity Jones in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" isn't enough or perhaps there are a few more extra dollars to spend, yet another actor has joined the currently shooting superhero sequel.

The plots for Woody Allen movies tend to be state secrets as long as possible before the film is released, and as such, his upcoming "Blue Jasmine" is still a bit of a mystery. But one thing we do know: Cate Blanchett doesn't seem to happy (or her character anyway).

You Can Keep Asking, But Matthew Weiner Isn't Bringing Back Sal On 'Mad Men'

In case you weren't aware, the sixth season of "Mad Men" is mere weeks away, which means everyone at the office is going to be talking about the latest escapades of Don Draper until you want to burn your computer down when the inevitable cocktail theme party Evite arrives. But oddly enough, one long-axed character from the show continues to endure: Sal. Played by Bryan Batt, he was the lovable, flaming (and closeted) illustrator who was shockingly fired from Sterling Cooper during season three, never to appear on the show again. And while some continue to hold out hope he'll be back, don't count on it.
