For a filmmaker who’s famous for having a twenty-year gap between films, Terrence Malick has been surprisingly prolific as of late. His last film was 2011’s “The Tree Of Life” and here we are, just under two years later with another film from the reclusive director just around the corner, with more to come. It’s a little over a month until the divisive “To The Wonder” hits theatres in the U.S. (it’s already playing in the U.K.) and a new trailer has arrived online.

By now, it shouldn't really be a surprise. When you're spending $325 million on a movie, you're hoping for a franchise, especially if you're Disney. Remember before "John Carter" came out how there was already tentative plans for a followup, "John Carter: The Gods Of Mars"? Perhaps learning not to count their chickens before they hatch, Disney has until now remained mum on any further travels down the yellow brick road after this weekend's "Oz The Great And Powerful" (our review). But with a massive opening weekend in the forecast, a small bit of their plans have been revealed.

Exciting news for “Boardwalk Empire” fans – Jeffrey Wright will join the show for its fourth season next year as a series regular. He'll be playing “Valentin Narcisse, Doctor of Divinity, philanthropist, student of culture and the man who runs Harlem.” So he’s a character with a pretty impressive CV, and it's some nice casting for a show that continues to cast respected character actors. Wright recently finished work on “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” where he played the notable character from the books, Beetee.
