In case you hadn't heard, diehard fans of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" received a treat last week with a behind-the-scenes look at the sequel, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug." However, you could only participate in the Peter Jackson-led Q&A if you had purchased the 'Unexpected Journey' Blu-Ray and entered a code from the DVD package (nifty way to make you spend that extra dough for what will be a double dip release, no?). Well, some of that footage has made it's way online now and it shows a few small first-look reveals of the cast in action.

No, this is not an April Fool's Day prank, and it's pretty big news for "Star Wars" fans, who already have enough to geek out about with sequels, spinoffs and more all on the horizon.

The year was 2010. The movie: "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief." And apparently, the $220 million worldwide haul for the movie (most of it from overseas) was enough to convince Fox that this was a franchise worth continuing. So now, three years later, we have "Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters" and if you're one of the few people who are actually looking forward to this, well, today is your lucky day.

So, is Adam Wingard's "You're Next" a delayed horror masterpiece, or just simply a decent genre effort that has faced an unfortunate hold up? According to our review out of SXSW, more of the latter. Picked up out of TIFF by Lionsgate in 2011 after a strong reception, it quickly made its way to Fantastic Fest only to wind up sitting on the studio shelf. But the movie has been dusted off and is headed to theaters, and a new trailer has dropped to sell the scares.

We're about six weeks away from getting beamed up into whatever J.J. Abrams has put together for "Star Trek Into Darkness" aka "The Movie He's Doing That Isn't Star Wars Episode 7." And of course, plot details are still being kept locked up. All we know is that Benedict Cumberbatch is the bad guy and Alice Eve will appear in her underwear, which for many is reason enough to buy a ticket. But in case you need a little more coaxing, here are a few more pics from the film.

It's almost hard to believe that the return of “Arrested Development,” while only a month away from its May Netflix premiere, is really happening -- perhaps partly because the event's been so anticipated, and partly because so little has been revealed on its contents. Drips of info have been leaked here and there though, and with a round of cast panels and interviews over the weekend, that info has just increased.

“Evil Dead” is about five twenty-something friends at a remote cabin in the woods. Things get interesting when they find a Book of the Dead and conjure up some demonic spirits from the nearby woods. Feel like you’ve seen it before? That’s because it’s a remake of Sam Raimi’s 1981 cult horror classic.

In a move likely to be viewed by studio execs as a bolstering win rather than an uneasy battle, “GI Joe: Retaliation” has overcome delays, reshoots, and narrative rejiggering to win the weekend box-office with $54.7 million. Leading on to a $132 million global haul, that leaves Paramount with a deep sigh of relief, and a newfound aim to try their luck a third time.
