Seems like only days ago that we reported that Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (“Bad Teacher,” “The Office,” “Year One”) were rewriting the script for director Paul Feig's buddy-cop comedy follow-up to "Bridesmaids" that will star Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy — and basically, that's because it was only days ago. Apparently, the first order of business was to give the film a title, which is now "The Heat."

Since "Louie" was last on the air, its star and creator, Louis C.K. has been having a moment. He won the AFI Award for best TV series, got two Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a comedy, and has breaking ground in terms of cutting out the middle man, selling tour tickets and his stand-up special directly to consumers (and in the latter case, giving much of the money to charity). All that, and he's been cast in Woody Allen's next film too.

Victoria Justice is finally getting her first movie! And, if you're young enough to know her from Nickelodeon shows like "Zoey 101," "iCarly" or tele-movies like "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf" this is exciting news! Either that, or you're a big fan of Josh Schwartz, who created "The O.C." and "Chuck" and is making his directorial debut with "Fun Size," another coming-of-age, high school comedy.

It may seem like a while ago, but at the tail end of 2011, heat started to build up around a movie featuring the blockbuster pairing of star Angelina Joile and director Luc Besson. Universal Pictures snapped up 80% of the worldwide distribution rights to the movie and then...Jolie decided to make "Maleficent" next. But not to worry, this project is still very much on schedule and it looks like it will be going up next for both Jolie and Besson.

Bootlegging was a dirty, dangerous business and John Hillcoat's upcoming "Lawless" certainly doesn't shy away from the less glamorous aspects of the gig, and it certainly helps to tell the story when you've got an ace cast at your disposal.

Well, if wasn't obvious before, it is now: Steven Soderbergh and Channing Tatum are having a full on bromance. After appearing in a small role in "Haywire," it seems Soderbergh and Tatum really hit it off, with the former encouraging the latter to develop his idea about a movie based on his days stripping and then signing on to direct. The result, "Magic Mike," is currently looking at taking in over $30 million this weekend, a rather remarkable feat in June, when you consider there are no superheroes, toys, or brands to be found. Also, the pair recently wrapped on "The Bitter Pill" which hits theaters next spring. But it looks like they haven't left Club Xquisite just yet.

It looks like Marvel and Kevin Feige are going to have a lot of questions to answer in a few weeks at Comic-Con. Fresh off news circulating that "Guardians Of The Galaxy" is being geared up for a 2014 release, another "Ant-Man" update has arrived, and, more exciting for fans, news that Walt Disney Animation is set to tackle its first animated movie.

It was probably inevitable that RZA would eventually strike out and make his own martial arts movie. The Wu-Tang Clan's resident beatmaker, chess genius, philosopher and more has made no secret of his love for the cheapie chopsocky movies he watched growing up from the very moment Enter The 36 Chambers dropped and blew minds. But that it would turn out be as outrageously fun-looking as it does here makes it all the more a pleasant surprise.
