While there are many who will swear that Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon was intentionally designed to sync up perfectly with "The Wizard of Oz," sometimes there are just happy coincidences. And that's what you could probably call this intriguing re-edit of the bank robbery sequence that opens Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight."

Well, if the set pics so far are anything to go by, filming on Terrence Malick's "Knight of Cups" has been absolutely delightful. If there's heavy drama to found in the picture, we haven't seen it yet as Christian Bale has been happily frolicking with Wes Bentley and Natalie Portman in the snaps that have made it online. And now, a few more of Bale and Portman riding in a classic convertible with the wind in their hair have made their way to the interwebs.

Is the political comedy "The Campaign" going to resonate with voters who are gearing up for the 2012 U.S. Presidential election later this year? Is this the closest thing we're going to get to a Seth Galifianakis movie? Seth, of course, being the hilarious "fake brother" character Zach Galifianakis created early on his career who is fey and effeminate and feels and sounds an awful lot like the character Galifianakis plays in this film. We'll soon find out.

Two of the finest scores of 2011 belonged to one man: Alberto Iglesias. The composer who frequently works with Pedro Almodovar didn't get an Oscar nomination for his work on "The Skin I Live In" (though he should have), but did get the nod for his equally impressive work on "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy." And now his talents have been enlisted for another high profile film, and one that is quite different than those two pictures.

Ever since "Cowboys & Aliens" kinda tanked hard last summer, there haven't been many directorial projects linked to Jon Favreau. Aside from the brewing "Magic Kingdom" (which itself seems to have stalled out), Favreau kept busy directing the pilot for the J.J. Abrams produced series "Revolution" and taking on a few acting gigs in "Iron Man 3," "Identity Thief" and the forthcoming "People Like Us." But it looks like another supersize project could be his if it all works out.

We gotta say, the concept for this is pretty clever. While studios are bending over backward to try and find popular video games to turn into movies (see the recent movement on "Need For Speed"), the folks over at Disney are celebrating the medium itself with their forthcoming "Wreck-It-Ralph."

Aside from the smash hit "The Vow" (which also happened to star Channing Tatum) there hasn't been much variety for the ladies who don't necessarily want to see to see superheroes, crude comedy or lots of explosions. But the promise of romance, comedy and yes, lots of attractive men taking their clothes off in "Magic Mike" should likely find an audience who haven't really been well served so far this year.

Musician Erykah Badu is certainly no stranger to controversy, and the psychedelic rock quartert The Flaming Lips are certainly no strangers to being, well, strange. So perhaps it’s not surprising that the mixture of the two would make for an entirely unwholesome blend of the odd and gratuitous.
