Over on Facebook a whole heap of new images have arrived for Will Ferrell's Spanish-language comedy "Casa de mi Padre" and the film continues to look like one of the more hilarious offerings we're going to get this spring.
The images showcase Ferrell's hero Armando Alvarez, Nick "Ron fucking Swanson" Offerman's Agent Parker, Gael Garcia Bernal's Onza, and Genesis Rodriguez's Sonia who all feature in a grand sendup of Mexican soap operas. The story follows financially struggling ranch owner (Ferrell) who is seemingly saved by his younger brother Raul (Diego Luna -- not pictured here for some reason) who is a successful international businessman. But when Armando falls for Raul's fiancée Sonia (Rodriguez), Raul's shady dealings come to the fore and all hell breaks loose. Bernal is coming in on the fun as well, playing drug lord Onza.
This looks pretty outrageously great, and we'll be there when it opens on March 16th.
