Joe, Nicolas Cage
After jostling with a couple different casting iterations, "Bachelorette" writer/director Leslye Headland has lined up Jason Sudeikis, Alison Brie, Adam Scott, Amanda Peet, Jason Mantzoukas and Natasha Lyonne for "Sleeping With Other People." The story follows a womanizer named Jake (Sudeikis), and a serial cheater (Brie), who form a platonic relationship to overcome their chronic infidelity. The film is described as " 'When Harry Met Sally' but with assholes," and production will begin in June, with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay producing.

Adam Scott Obamacare
Either Barack Obama is a big fan of Funny Or Die, or people on his staff think it's the best way to reach young people, but the administration has been going hard on the channel in order to get folks to sign up for government health care aka Obamacare. The President himself even sat down with Zach Galifianakis for an episode of "Between Two Ferns." And now another approach is being tried to ensure everyone gets themselves coverage. Read More »

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty
In a colorless and unremarkable New York apartment, the shy, anonymous Walter Mitty stares at the eHarmony dating page of his co-worker Cheryl (Kristen Wiig). Debating whether or not to make the online first move, Walter eventually daydreams about a spectacular manner in which to impress her. But back in reality, the question remains: can the timid man send the social networking equivalent of a hello to the girl he has a crush on? If he does have the chutzpah to do so, will the complexities of life and fate manage to interfere? Will Walter be able to seize the day and “just do it” like Nike might have asserted him to do a few decades ago?

Stuck in a rut, lonely and watching life pass him by, Walter Mitty needs a change. And he gets one in Ben Stiller's updated remake of "The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty," his rousing, life-affirming take on the classic 1939 story and 1947 film, that will either win over your heart or drown it in sentimentality, depending on how this all plays out for you.

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty
When the first trailer arrived for "The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty" this past summer, it took many by surprise. Ben Stiller's remake of Danny Kaye's 1947 musical fantasy looked like it had it's own unique magic, one that got many talking about its Oscar potential. This past weekend, that theory got tested as 'Mitty' made its world premiere at the New York Film Festival to decidedly mixed reviews, and far from the sort of raves that would sustain a picture through the awards season. That being said, there is still a long haul to go and Fox isn't stopping yet.

Review: 'A.C.O.D.' Starring Adam Scott, Amy Poehler, Richard Jenkins & Catherine O'Hara

Comedy can succeed based on either its relatability or sheer absurdity, and “A.C.O.D.” favors the former approach, while not entirely forgoing the latter. Within its first few moments, this movie informs us that 54% of people are adult children of divorce, or A.C.O.D. Statistically, you’re likely to fall within that group (or closely know someone who does), making many of the jokes and observations here hit perhaps a little too close to home, though not too closely not to laugh.

A.C.O.D. Adam Scott
Sometimes movies need to sell us on their premise or the visual ambition, or provide some other hook to get us interested. Then there are movies like the upcoming comedy "A.C.O.D.," which with an ensemble led by Adam Scott and featuring Catherine O'Hara, Richard Jenkins, Jane Lynch, Clark Duke, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Amy Poehler and Jessica Alba, has the kind of cast we'd watch in anything. Just tell us where to show up. Speaking of showing up, not only do have some exclusive photos and clips from the film but those of you in New York City may be in for an extra treat.

“The big thing for us is about awareness of what an A.C.O.D. is,” director Stu Zicherman recently told EW. “There’s a lot of debate about [keeping] the title.” Well, keep they did and now comes the part of the campaign to let you know what it's all about. And that's just what the first trailer for "A.C.O.D." does, bringing together a whole bunch solid comedic talents for a tale about the effects splitting up....on everyone else...

As far as pet projects go, Adam Scott's "Greatest Event In Television History" might be one of the most fun of them kicking around. Getting the idea to do overblown remakes of opening sequences for classic television shows, Scott launched the first "event" last fall, teaming up with reluctant and selfish Jon Hamm to redo "Simon & Simon." It was a pretty amusing endeavor, with Jeff Probst hosting a TV special going behind the scenes of the shoot for the one minute sequence, in pretty hilarious fashion. Well, Scott is back and this time he's teaming up with his "Parks and Recreation" love interest Amy Poehler for another event that is even greater than the last one.
