If "(500) Days of Summer" is bound to be considered this generation’s "Annie Hall" (not its equal, mind you, but its closest equivalent), then it’s fair to claim that "Celeste and Jesse Forever" follows in the footsteps of "When Harry Met Sally," picking up where that film ended and proceeding to chronicle similar ups and downs in a close friendship verging on – or, rather, retreating from – full-blown romance.

Breaking up is hard to do. It's even harder if your partner also happens to be your best friend, and that distinction forms the basis of "Celeste And Jesse Forever," the upcoming romantic comedy that takes a funny and dramatic look at the end of a relationship and what it takes to start over.

Oh boy, for anyone who has been through a breakup where you still remain friends (raises hand), the trailer for "Celeste & Jesse Forever" will resonate loud and clear. But even if not, it promises a fresh take on the relationship rom-com.

It seems Adam Sandler has welcomed a new, young recruit into his stable of regulars, in the fresh-faced and funny Andy Samberg. The duo paired up in last weekend's wickedly unfunny "That's My Boy," and in case you missed it, Samberg recently stopped by the set of "Grown Ups 2" for a cameo. And now they've paired up once again, though you might not recognize them right away.

Review: 'That's My Boy' Predictably Juvenile & Surprisingly Far Uglier Than The Usual Adam Sandler Offering

Adam Sandler, comedian, A-List star, and leading man of this Friday’s “That’s My Boy,” is not an idiot. Dedicated to preserving his brand, his films have effectively raised a generation, from the sophomoric absurdity of “Billy Madison” to, uh, the sophomoric banality of “Grown Ups.” You can’t keep playing the same notes forever, and Sandler is not the most diverse instrument, so aside from token experiments (“Punch Drunk Love” certainly stands out), “That’s My Boy” is something of a departure: a hard-R rated film featuring an unfamiliar collaborator in director Sean Anders (“Hot Tub Time Machine”) and a co-star who actually makes Sandler, for the first time ever, come across as an elder.

Yes, Andy Samberg has left "Saturday Night Live" joining Kristen Wiig in waving goodbye to the iconic sketch comedy show, which should make for a radically different program when it returns in September. And while we'll miss the SNL Digital Shorts (though, we guess he'll team up with this Lonely Island boys to do some special ones from time to time) it looks like Samberg is ready to spread his wings a bit. He already hit Sundance in January with "Celeste And Jesse Forever," a relationship dramedy that's a bit different than we're used to seeing from him and now he's crossing the pond for his next television effort.

While Andy Samberg has officially left "Saturday Night Live," he hasn't put iMovie away yet, as he's gone ahead and cut his own version of the trailer for "That's My Boy," which is not surprisingly, pretty awesome.

In the few short years since “Funny People” was released, Adam Sandler has made it his goal to outdo the fake terrible movies that his character did in Judd Apatow’s film. The nadir of his inexorable downward slope will probably be next year’s “Grown Ups 2” and he’s bringing along new faces.

Steven Spielberg has always preferred to balance the serious and the light-hearted, often alternating between heavier fare and popcorn entertainment from picture to picture (look no further than 2011's "War Horse" and "The Adventures Of Tintin"). And with the director currently in post on his dream project/Oscar bait "Lincoln," he's taken a quick breather from the sober historical flick to join Andy Samberg and Bill Hader for the "Saturday Night Live" digital short "Laser Cats 7." And the results are somewhat amusing, even if this laser cats thing is already kinda played.
