Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood & James Marsden Westworld
In the canon of remakes-that-are-taking-forever-to-get-made, "Westworld" would be up there. The project is slowly developing for years and never quite getting anywhere, but last year J.J. Abrams and Jonah Nolan signed up to produce the movie for HBO, with the latter writing the script and directing the pilot. Well, it seems it's a step closer to happening as offers are now out for actors to fill the roles of the futuristic flick about robots run amok.

The Silence Of The Lambs
It's been nearly fifteen years since audiences were (re)introduced to serial killer and cannibal, Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Before Anthony Hopkins immortalized the role into pop culture legend, Brian Cox took on the part in Michael Mann's "Manhunter" in 1986, but neither that performance or film came close to the massive success of "The Silence Of The Lambs." And while it went on to win five Oscars—sweeping the top categories—it pays to be reminded that from the outset, expectations had been quite low about 'Lambs' overall.

Kidnapping Freddy Heineken
Even if you have never heard about the film before, the title “Kidnapping Freddy Heineken” should tell you everything you need to know. Freddy Heineken was chairman and CEO of Heineken International, a brewing company that surely everyone is familiar with. And yes, the man really was kidnapped. In 1983, five criminals kidnapped Heineken and demanded a hefty ransom, 35 million Dutch guilders to be exact (equivalent to 16 million Euros). Naturally, a story like this demands to be seen on film and director Daniel Alfredson (“The Girl Who Played With Fire”) is thankfully up for the task. An international trailer for film has recently popped up online and you can check it out below.

Already featuring Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Jake Gyllenhaal, Martin Henderson, Emily Watson, Thomas Wright, Sam Worthington and Robin Wright, the film has now added Keira Knightley to its ranks.

Noah, trailer
"In the Bible the story is only a couple of pages, and the perception we have of it in the West is more as a children’s toy—an old man with a long beard and animals two by two on the boat. And there’s so much more to the story than that…there’s a lot of clues there about what the story means. So it was about trying to create a world where the story of Noah could be truthful and could take place, and make it something that could connect to a modern audience," director Darren Aronofsky told us last year, just two weeks after he had wrapped filming. With the time since spent working on the extensive special effects and whatever issues might be happening behind-the-scenes, reportedly battling the studio over final cut (it's still test screening), it looks like everyone involved is satisfied that all will be resolved as the first trailer has washed ashore.

Review: 'Thor: The Dark World' The Most Deeply Flawed Marvel Movie Since 'Iron Man 2'

Thor: The Dark World
The first "Thor" movie was something of a risk for Marvel. Wisecracking Robert Downey Jr. in a (relatively) grounded real world setting was one thing, but a Viking god from space, played by a complete unknown and directed by a man best known for Shakespeare adaptations was quite another. But the 2011 film, while flawed in many ways, proved surprisingly entertaining and teed up both its title character and his villainous brother Loki for a return appearance in the team-up movie "The Avengers," which turned out to be an absolute megahit. As such, the studio must be feeling on surer ground with "Thor: The Dark World."

A flood is coming, but not to worry, because Darren Aronofsky is building the boat, cinematically speaking. Next spring, the director brings his snake-filled, crazy demon angel version of "Noah" to the big screen, and now a few more images have arrived to hold us over, as we buy supplies for the trip.
